The “Route des Vins” was founded by Caroline PEDRO. Born in Bordeaux into a family owning vineyards and producing wine in the Haut-Medoc and Saint-Estephe, she was raised in the vineyards and the wine business.

She obtained a Diploma in Tourism specialising in the creation of tourist packages, and has a diploma from the Faculty of Oenology in Bordeaux.

She was responsible for the reception of clients at the Pauillac ‘Maison du Tourism et du Vin’ in the Medoc vineyards for fourteen years.

During this time, she was in charge of organising seminars and incentives for companies and tailored trips for private individuals. She organised and animated wine-tastings in French and in English for individuals and groups.

She also accompanied French and international tourism professionals, journalists from the written press, radio and television and all VIPs.
She is passionate about her love of wine, local products, culture and gastronomy.
